Reviews and Ratings
The hotel offers incredible views of the lake and has clean rooms with everything you need. The location, just steps away from the ferry terminal, is perfect for exploring the other towns of Lake Como. The dining experience is brilliant, especially with fresh cooked eggs and bacon. However, there was a swindler situation that spoiled the holiday experience, showing a lack of consideration. Overall, a beautiful hotel with some drawbacks to be aware of.
I absolutely adored my stay at this hotel! The rooms were fabulously cute and had a great location with excellent views of the lake. The fantastic breakfast made my mornings delightful. However, the lighting was a bit tricky as we could shut the shutters to block out light - very European charm!
Staying in a 3rd-floor lake view room was a delightful experience with clean, comfortable, and spacious accommodations offering a balcony overseeing the picturesque lake and mountains. However, the price reserved for the room was disappointing, falling short of expectations even at a lower rate of $50 per night.
Upon entering the room, it felt like I stepped into an episode of 'Fawlty Towers'; the experience was extremely poor. However, the impressive views of Lake Como were undeniable. The hotel's location was excellent, right opposite the ferry terminal, offering a convenient spot with fabulous views.
Staying at this hotel was a delightful experience overall. The rooms allowed us to sleep with them open and enjoy the moderate temperature, they were comfortable with an excellent fit-out, and offered sensational views. While the decor may be somewhat dated resembling a style from some 60 years ago, the impeccable linens made up for it.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were comfortable with good lake views and welcoming air conditioning, but the floor level window had no view, and the handheld shower had no screen. The location was fantastic, right next to the pier, making it easy to reach the train station in just 5 minutes on foot. The dining experience was memorable with a lovely view of the lake, although some variety was lacking in the menu. The facilities were decent, offering a pleasant overall experience.
I had a fantastic stay at this hotel with beautiful views of the lake and the ferry dock right outside my window. The room was extremely clean and quite spacious, though the cleanliness could have been better, partly my own fault. The older furniture gave it a charming touch. The staff was super-friendly and helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The location is outstanding, just a stone's throw away from the ferry wharf, offering breathtaking views of Lake Como. The breakfast included was excellent, and the overall cleanliness and care of the place were top-notch.
The hotel is in a fantastic location, close to the ferry, shops, and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, albeit slightly old-fashioned. The service was convenient with available airport shuttle options. The dining experience was tasty, although noise could be a concern. The hotel facilities had a touch of old-world charm.
I had a mix of experiences at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and had a stunning view of Lake Como, perfect for easy access to the ferries, but unfortunately, noise from neighbors above disturbed my sleep. Despite the beautiful balcony view, the noise was a drawback.
